Do wear compression stockings in addition to loose, comfortable clothing. Compression stockings can be purchased over the counter and do wonders for alleviating the symptoms of varicose veins and venous insufficiency.

Don’t assume that your varicose veins can be cured and eliminated in a single treatment. Treating venous insufficiency takes time, and often requires multiple procedures in addition to the lifestyle changes you will need to make. Follow your doctor’s instructions following any procedures but also listen to your body. With the right treatment plan and dedication on your part, varicose veins and venous insufficiency can be managed and you can find the comfort and confidence that you hoped for.
